Pompe can affect every muscle in the body. It is a continuum, muscles deteriorate at different times for different people and so the future is unpredictable but don’t be afraid there are treatments that improve the quality of your life.

It is important to remember that you are not alone in this journey. The Pompe community is worldwide and always open to offering support and advice. Many of us will have lived through the uncertainty of not knowing anything about Pompe, its symptoms or treatments and will understand exactly what you are going through.
